Tron vs Zoo 2-1

Game 1

Grindy game where the opponent definitely has the upper hand, but is held off by an Ensnaring Bridge that eventually lets me go over the top with Ugin.

Game 2

Plan with opening hand:

  1. [Labyrinth] + Talisman of Resilience
  2. [Labyrinth]
  3. Eldrazi Temple -> now have {7}

I am hoping to draw a [Devourer] or [Mycospawn] as a big threat. I also like holding up [Dismember, which turns out to be relevant immediately].

Plan goes out the window when the Damping Sphere comes out. Opponent gets lethal before I can stabilize.

The mistake was probably not having tech against Damping Sphere? Karn + Haywire Mite, or Expedition Map to find Boseiju.

Game 3

I have cards to get tron on turn 3, which I do cleanly, having learned nothing from game 2 (finding Boseiju with the Expedition Map to play around another Damping Sphere). This is a mistake, even though I don't get punished.

Opponent has Consign, but I have 2 [Devourer] and 2 Ulamog with mana to cast them. The game doesn't last long.
