Energy vs UR Murktide 0-2

Game 1
- Total misplay with the Mana Tithe. Obviously the idea was to prevent the Ledger Shredder from conniving, but opponent was able to find a third land off the Preordain, which should have been obvious.
- 8/8 Murktide on turn 4 was well out of range and I conceded.
Possibly holding the Mana Tithe until the Murktide showed up could have won the game.
Game 2
I mulled a slow hand and ended up with one that was even worse. From then, the game was difficult.
- Thraben Charm against delirium felt correct.
- At 17:00, I played Ajani into Counterspell, even though I suspected opponent had it, thinking at least I'll hit it with Surgical Extraction.
- And they again had an 8/8 Murktide on turn 4.
What could have been done:
- Mull down to five?
- Hold Ajani, and instead respond to the Lightning Bolt at 18:58 by exiling the Ledger Shredder from the opponent's graveyard. That'd have turned off delirium, so they might have countered, and Ajani might have worked out.
Summary
It really seems like to be good against this deck, Energy needs to play something that can remove the Murktide Regent. Possibly Static Prison is just better than Mana Tithe?
